Once upon a time, there was a little all star. She loved cheerleading with all of her little heart. She cheered and tumbled all day and night. Her name was Britney.

One day, a new girl came to her all-star team, and she went to Britney's elementary school. They were the best of friends until she found out that Britney was a cheerleader. Her name was Ashley.

"So, what are you doing here?" Britney asked her newly found foe at the first practice she showed up.

"Well, I was looking for a good, easy, hobby to do on the side of school," Ashley said, "The first simple thing that came to mind was cheerleading."

"You think cheerleading is easy," Britney asked furiously. Ashley nodded her little head and smiled widely,almost as if she wanted to get under Britney's skin, but still as if she really believed that cheerleading was easy. "Well, this ought to be an interesting night for you, Ashley."

To Britney's surprise Ashley had already mastered her BHS and most of the jumps. But that still did not impress Britney for she was really supposed to be on a level 5 team, but they didn't have one for juniors and she got stuck on a level 3 team. In response to Ashley's show-offy display, Britney ran across the mat doing a cartwheel then round off at first. Ashley snickered at her appeared lack of tumbling ability. Then on coming back the opposite way, she did her round off, BHS, full. The rest of the team clapped, except for Ashley, who seemed bewildered at how Britney falsely led her on.

As Britney passed Ashley, she whispered to her, "Now let's see you call that easy."

"Whatever," Ashley managed to stifle out.

The Coach bellowed over the chattery girls, "Alright, everyone get on a line and get ready to stretch."

They all sat on a line and began to stretch. Ashley and Britney tried to out do each others stretches the whole time.

After stretching almost the hardest they ever had in their life, the coach bellowed, " Get on a line and get ready to do toe-touches."

For Britney already having-had made it to a level 5 team her toe-touches were very well hyper-extended. And Ashley's were, as she had never done cheer before, slightly horrible. Britney watched Ashley attempt to do a toe-touch. Every time Ashley would look her way to see Britney's reaction, Britney would let out a loud and hard chuckle.

The coach noticed the rivalry between the two young girls.
